Mississippi's first day of gator hunting
Friday night saw the opening of Mississippi's first ever day of alligator hunting season. Only 50 hunting permits were issued and hunting was limited to a northern section of the Ross Barnett Reservoir. The night's biggest catch was an 11 foot gator weighing in at 331 pounds. And for that I can only say "thank you".
